"Beer bar February 2006: Their food is excellent and is freshly cooked. Has been closed for a 3 weeks due to a holiday but has now re-opened. Summer 2005: Heiner and Lee run a clean and pleasant bar with low booze prices and about ten more or less appealing take-away girls. Beer, soft drinks and Thai whisky are reasonably priced with a 20 Baht supplement if bought as lady drinks. Thai and mainly German food is available (the Frikadellen are very tasty) They had to change their venue as some of the shops north of the 711 on the corner of Soi Casa, Jomtien will be demolished soon to make way for yet another 4 rai, 32 storey mega-hotel." ![]() |

Restaurant and beer bar Popular with Dutch visitors and residents who reckon that the Green Bean Soup is far better than they can buy in the Netherlands. The price of the meals seems a bit high but quality and size are optimal. The ambience and decor is average. ![]() |

"Beer bar with food. Review from Soi-Katoey May 2006: Mixed Gender Run by a ladyboy and her British husband, this beer bar has between 7 and 10 ladyboys and 5 or 6 ladies working in there on a regular basis. Nice place, the owners play good music, and they have a friendly attitude. Review January 2006: Dropped into this bar at 4pm recently. Left at 4:35pm after a 50 Baht small Chang beer. Nothing of interest. A gay cashier, a midget, some gender benders with large chests and baritone voices, the ubiquitous pool table, very uncomfortable furnishings and no chit-chat whatsoever. Thankfully, my one and only visit. Review Summer 2005: Stopped there after visiting the immigration office. Sally has HUGE knockers and was very friendly. Sat with another cutie who showed me a few racy pics of herself on her cellphone. I guess those cellphones aren't all bad. I did eat something, but I don't remember what it was. Too many distractions." |

"Beer bar The restaurant aspect is not obvious, there is no sign of a kitchen. The bar probably has an agreement with a nearby restaurant. Review from David, May 2006: Not a lot of choice The bar wants 250 Baht for the room and the "ladies" expect 500 Baht. January 2006: Biggest attractions: Nicely coloured tablecloths and a "spot the katoey" test and the only miniature Schnauzer in Jomtien. December 2005: I was attracted in by the need for a beer in an aircon environment. The plus side was the aircon, the downside was that it made my evening's hostess feel uncomfortable. My farm fresh companion was also made to feel uncomfortable by some very touchy feely gymnastics going down at the bar. She looked to me for moral support in disapproving of such antics but I quite like a little hands-on fun and told her so. Nevertheless I was happy to enjoy her company on her own terms, especially as it was fascinating to chat with a girl on her first evening working in a bar. She was a lovely girl who was happy to the point of tears to be tipped nicely for just a pleasant evening chatting. (No doubt reality will hit her on subsequent nights) The bar employs about eight girls who were mostly attractive. Most of the customers seemed to be regulars who were happy to sit at the bar and talk about broken hearts. Bottled beers and soft drinks were around the 50 Baht mark. I appreciated the availability of bottled Leo Beer which is not very common in these parts. Barfines are 250/300 Baht and there are convenient rooms." ![]() |
