Personally I like the Cherry Bar on the corner of soi 3 and second road. Nice girls and atmosphere. That would be my 'must visit' bar everytime.

Newsfrom Pattaya City News, June 2006: Cosying up to Immigration Police
Pattaya’s Immigration Bureau received a complaint from a bar girl. She claimed that owner would assault girls who work at the bar and would go as far as stab them on occasion for, what he considered to be, fun.
Wilhelmus Van Kempen from Holland was found to have an expired passport. A check with the Dutch Embassy in Bangkok uncovered a list of outstanding warrants regarding firearms offences back in Holland and according to the Embassy he was on their wanted list for some time. He will be handed over to Embassy officials in Bangkok and the man will be deported back to Holland.
Later, Immigration Police returned to the bar and made a further arrest of a German man who was found to be working without a Work Permit. Harold Kramer was arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station. He claimed he was also the owner of the bar. Despite this he was charged with the offence and will now face deportation if he is convicted.

I noticed that a lot of the ladyboys are getting very pushy with farangs as they walk by especially at nois bar beside kritts. Spoke to the manager Joy and owner Noi about this and they don't seem to want to know. A lot of guys get worked up with anger as they are being pushed and shoved by these ladyboys as they are trying to pass the bars
Summer 2005:
I have spent quite a few hours here since Noi is a friend of my (former) girl friend. Noi and her husband (English guy) has always been a good host in the bar and they have quite a few good looking girls here.
There is a pool table in the back and a big screen TV where they show most football matches and formula 1.

My appointed meeting bar with plenty of ladies to play a little Connect 4 with. Their choice of dance music does not seem to match their generally older clientele but I guess the customers are used to that in Pattaya.
Later on the music swings back to rock & roll classics as a local band takes the stage.

"October 2005, Spotted on an Internet forum:
Check Bin came to 515 baht including a lady drink, and gave them 1,000 to cover it.After waiting a while for my change I was told that I only gave them 500 baht and shouldn't expect any change. I pointed out that if this was the case, why did they not ask me for the extra 15 baht. They couldn't explain this and asked me to leave the bar.
I left wondering if I could have possibly made a mistake. but outside the lady who check binned me followed me out and said sorry, she knew I gave a 1,000 baht note, but could do nothing about it as she didn't want to lose her job.
Went back a few minutes later and argued with the manager, but basically got Fucked off with a knowing smile, and a few threats.
One to avoid."
