Because it is only on Saturdays when one of the owners, Enzo, gets up on stage to sing: Yes, Pattaya's only Italian tenor cum human beat box. He really is exceptional, and the place just goes wild when he sings. Summer 2005: Seems popular with the Asian tour parties probably because this is one of the few bars that don't focus on female companionship. The live band are competent and play the usual pop/rock material but they feature a jazzier treatment than most. The beer is good but a little expensive. I found the metal detector search on entry a little off putting, it makes you wonder if they have something to fear from protection racketeers or thugs. Maybe they working with a thought to further royal vistors. Smoking is prohibited."  |
