"Music pub without hostesses Review from Pattaya Chat, June 2006: Wheat Beer If your looking for a place to find girls then look elsewhere but I enjoyed it in there, there is a fairly good Filipino band and It gets quite busy from about 10pm, they serve Erdinger lager and wheat beer both draught and bottles, the bottles of wheat beer go down a dream but are expensive at 195bht for 500ml. October 2005: Nicely decorated. Very quiet on a Monday night but this was attributed to it being the night off for the house band. The replacement band were not really capturing much interest. Drinks are expensive and are in the rang 100-150 Baht. Personally I will stick to the more lively music bars of Walking Street."  |

"Beer bar with aircon Review May 2006: Chin Chin Girls A pleasant and German run aircon bar which has established a goodly amount of regulars. The decor and seating etc are good, there's even a nice painting depicting the housewife stripping game show: Tutti Frutti. The good decor extends to the toilets which are clean and well kept. There were some very pleasant girls on hand during my visit. One even a good grasp of English and was well read enough to make for a very enjoyable evening of conversation... and more. Bar fine 200 Baht, bottled beer around 60 Baht and lady drinks at 95 Baht."  |

NORTH PATTAYA / NAKLUA
Naklua means "salt fields", after the main occupation of the area before the rise of tourism and industry. There is still the air of an ancient village to Naklua today, for here you will see old wooden houses and narrow streets, traditional noodle shops and working fishing boats. The old houses over the creek are especially picturesque, and a walk through the streets will reveal plenty of little shops selling handicrafts and domestic goods. The Dolphin Roundabout and the beginning of Beach Road mark the junction with North Pattaya, and the surroundings change dramatically. This is the classy end of the resort, with up-market hotels and restaurants facing out over the beach. Here too you can begin a pleasant walk along the beachfront, for a recently built promenade will take you along the shore under the palm trees right up to through to the back part of Pattaya, known as Second Road. There are more major hotels here, along with shopping areas, bars, clubs, and a Tourist Police office.
