"Beer bar March 2006: My fave bar is the 5 Star, Beach Rd and soi 10 by Mikes Shopping Mall. Friendly girls, great sound system, and one of the best views. Mama is always cooking something to feed you and she will ring the bell. January 2006: A popular bar at the end of the walk along the Beach Road street market stalls. Before the starting on the return leg one can partake in a reasonably priced drink. The bar seems to have connections with the US military and also with bikers. The mementos and photos and the walls demonstrate this affiliation."  |
